Remembrance Sunday Service

Remembrance Sunday is held annually at the Kranji Commonwealth War Graves, to commemorate the contribution of the British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts. It is held on the second Sunday in November, the Sunday nearest to the 11th of November, which marks the anniversary of the end of World War I at 11am, 1918.

The service is organised by the British High Commission, led by British High Commissioner, in partnership with the Singapore Armed Forces Veteran League. It is also attended by members of the diplomatic corps, military, religious representatives as well as members of the public.
